Dakotah ~ [3/7/24] ~ I hope the winter has been fair to everyone. Luckily, we had a very mild winter and spring is around the corner. I just wanted to take a little bit of time and share what we have planned for the upcoming months. We have a lot of different things, and we hope you can come and join us.
For starters Friday March 15th is Hawaiian Luau Day! This will be an all-day event held in the lobby here at the Credit Union. Kassie has been working hard the last few weeks putting together a bunch of fun things. We will be having some games, kid’s activities, snacks, raffles and chances to win prizes. Also don’t forget to check out our vacation loan. Contact Morgan or Sherry to see about your loan options.
Starting Monday March 18th, we will have a silent auction on two Easter baskets. Bidding can be done in person here at the branch or online on our Facebook page http://facebook.com/lincolnmainefcu. The winners of the baskets will be called by the end of day Friday March 29th.
Friday March 29th there will be a special visit from the Easter Bunny! He will be here 4:00-5:00 in the LMFCU lobby. Come take some pictures with the Easter Bunny and see what other treats we will have. Maybe if you are lucky, you will find an Easter egg or two.
April is National Credit Union Youth Month. Every Friday for the month of April we have a wide variety of fun things planned for kids. Once again this will be held in the lobby here at the Credit Union, between the times of 2:00 and 3:00. We will have made your own pudding dirt cups, moon sand, flower planting, and paper crafts. On the last Friday of the month, we will be having soda floats, popcorn, and cotton candy. These are just a few things that we have planned. Membership is not required to participate. 
Also, during the month of April youth account opening fees are waved. You will need a $25.00 deposit that will stay in the savings account. Proof of birth certificate and social security number will also be needed to open a youth account. If you join the Loon Savings Club, you will receive a sticker book and your first sticker. For every deposit of at least $2.00 you will receive a sticker. Once your book is full, return it to us and pick a prize from our treasure chest. Also, you will receive a $1.00 deposit to your account as our gift to you on your birthday.
We all are very excited about the next few months, and we hope that you can join us. Come have some fun, ask questions and let us find ways to get the most out of your money. We have many services and products we would love to share with you.
