Shared Branching is a convenient way for credit union members to perform a number of transactions as if they were at their own credit union. With hundreds of credit unions throughout the State of Maine, members are able to access their accounts no matter where they are! In order to access your account through Shared Branching, you must provide the following identification:
- Home credit union name
- Your account number
- Valid government issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
Shared Branching allows credit unions from all corners of the state to share facilities that provide members with hundreds of convenient locations to access services:
- Deposits
- Withdrawals
- Loan Payments
- Purchase money orders, travelers checks, and official checks
